Product Description

The BT200 is a compact and rugged handheld beacon tester with an intuitive user interface. Based on the Android operating system, this device is capable of measuring all known Cospas-Sarsat approved emergency locator beacons: AIS-EPIRBs and AIS transceivers (both class A and B). This unit offers a fully integrated, IP68-rated design, which provides a rugged, waterproof, and portable ELT test unit. The BT200 will cover the 406 MHz, 121.1 MHz, and 243 MHz channel frequencies for complete measurement tests, while a built-in oscilloscope allows users to monitor the received signals in real time. Operators are able to add text, audio, photos, and videos to measurement data and also create custom PDF and IMO test reports. The measurement data can easily be transferred to a PC for analysis and storage. This ELT beacon tester exceeds all IMO, FAA, IC, and EuroCAE EPIRB, ELT, and AIS inspection requirements.
