    Product Description

The Telex Airman 850 ANR headset is an ultra-lightweight commercial headset that dramatically improves the clarity of communication and does not require batteries or panel power—active noise reduction is powered by microphone bias.

Using the latest in ANR circuitry to target and reduce wind noise in jet cockpits, the Airman 850 provides up to 12 decibels (dB) of noise attenuation between 100 and 2000 Hz. It also features a miniature, amplified, noise-canceling electret microphone that provides superior 400Hz hum rejection. The flexible boom rotates 320° and can be worn on either side of the head.

The Airman 850 is available for Boeing, Airbus, and other airframes and does not require specialized intercom adapters. Approved for aircraft use under FAA TSO-C57a and TSO-C58a.
