The landing gear breakout box has been designed as a universal landing gear test box which supports a variety of aircraft models — simply connect an aircraft specific harness, and you have a powerful troubleshooting and rigging tool for your shop. Each unit includes one set of harnesses for a single aircraft. Harnesses for another aircraft can be purchased.

- Engage and disengage squat switches
- Engage and disengage landing gear up-locks
- Engage and disengage landing gear down-locks
- Perform maintenance and testing of the anti-skid system while the aircraft is on jacks
- Perform maintenance and tests on thrust reversers while the aircraft is on jacks
