Product Description
The L1/L2 networked hanger re-radiating GPS antenna kit featuring a variable gain amplifier with LCD displays includes the components or building a re-radiating system for distributing all major GNSS frequencies indoors. GNSS signals are received by the roof antenna, amplified, and then distributed inside the hanger. This GPS antenna consists of an active roof antenna, a re-radiating antenna, and a re-radiating amplifier with external power supply for powering the entire systems. In the standard network configuration, the re-radiating amplifier output (J1) is DC blocked.
This L1/L2 networked re-radiating kit (EDMO# L1L2VGLCDN) has N connectors, variable gain amplifier with LCD display.
Cable from the roof antenna and the re-radiating kit sold separately.
This product is only to be used for testing GNSS equipment/systems for the purpose of product development or fabrication.
Per the latest FCC guidance, the following use cases are NOT allowed:
- Fire Stations & First Responders
- Aircraft Repair and Maintenance
- Truck Repair and Maintenance
- Any other usages which could be considered "maintenance".
An FCC Experimental Broadcast license is required to operate this device, with the following exceptions:
- Device is operated in a shielded environment, such as an anechoic chamber.
- Device is operated in conjunction with a reradiating hood.
- Device is operated by federal or DoD personnel with the approval of the local spectrum manager.
