The CT2844A is a high-capacity lead wire manufactured by Cal Test Electronics. It is designed for use in electrical testing applications and is available in lengths of 10 m, 50 m, and 100 m, with color options of red and black. The wire features silicone insulation and a 651 strand bare copper conductor, contributing to increased flexibility compared to standard test lead wires. Its construction allows for ease of handling in various testing environments. The silicone jacket is thicker than that of typical hook-up wires, providing added durability. A white inner layer is incorporated beneath the outer jacket, serving as a visual indicator of wear or damage. The CT2844A Series is rated for up to 1000 V CAT IV, making it suitable for high-voltage and high-current testing scenarios.
