IFR 4000 Software Upgrade | ELT Option 1

The ELT option 1 software upgrade for the IFR 4000 test set accurately measures 121.5/243 MHz emergency beacon transmitter frequency, output power, modulation (AM), as well as 406 MHz COSPAS/SARSAT emergency beacon transmitter frequency, and output power. The IFR 4000 allows users to test ILS, VOR, Marker Beacon and VHF/UHF communications avionics systems. This device weighs less than eight pounds while having a battery life of up to 8 hours, and is designed with an ergonomic, highly portable design that accommodates testing from the bench to the cockpit.
