White Lightning GPU

With over 40 years of aviation product experience, White Lightning provides ground power units, BatteryMINDer® products, and convenient connection kits for airframe power and battery maintenance charging. They are available in both 14 or 28 VDC models as well as dual-voltage models that output both. Most models include a standard 6ft. AN2551 3-pin aircraft external power cable, and a round, single-pin Piper-style connection is also supported.

The SmartGPU is a specialized switching-mode power supply designed to provide pilots and aviation maintenance professionals with a portable, affordable source of stable, high-current, noise-free DC power that replicates the in-flight electrical environment. Its rated output is 28-volts up to 54-amps or 114-amps. The GPU’s intended purpose is to energize an aircraft’s main electrical bus without using the ship’s battery or engine. It will safely provide continuous power for the most delicate electronics and airframe systems up to its full rated output. The SmartGPU mobile app allows the user to monitor the power draw from the flight deck or anywhere in the hangar.
