AC10K-HDST

Enhanced COMMS Headset Adapter

The new Enhanced COMMS headset adapter (EDMO# AC10K-HDST), when paired with the AVX-10K-SECOM software option, will allow users to exercise their operational checks with greater efficiency than traditional tests. This headset adapter is compatible with both dual and single plugs for high and low impedance headsets commonly used on aircraft. Technicians can do two-way radio communication between the aircraft and the AVX-10K. The way that this differs from a handheld radio is that the power level can be measured to ensure the aircraft is capable of receiving and transmitting at sufficient power levels to be received at long distances.

The VIAVI OSPREY (Operational Simulated Positioning for Real-time Evaluation of Systems) GPS Simulator provides static waypoints and dynamic routes to be simulated for avionics testing purposes. Daily Almanac data can be seamlessly uploaded to the OSPREY, simplifying the process of ensuring a position lock for GPS Receivers.
