Users can ensure that fiber connectors are clean before connecting them with the FBP-787-1 Basic Avionics Inspection Kit. This kit includes an HD1 Westover Handheld display, a handheld analog video probe microscope for fiber inspection, interface tips, inspections tips, barrel assemblies, alignment guides, and organization cases all packed into one padded Pelican hard case.
Kit includes:
- FBP-HD-1 display:
light, durable display that works with FBP-series probes. It has a
3.5-in thin film transistor and an active matrix liquid crystal display
screen with contrast adjustment and an auto-shutoff function as well as a
hanging accessory for hands-free operation. Li-Ion battery; 110V
alternate power supply.
- FBP-P5-IRH handheld analog
video probe microscope: powered through the universal serial bus port
and uses a blue coaxial LED light to illuminate the subject and get the
highest definition possible with an advanced camera system. Equipped
with patented RibbonDrive inspection tips for inspecting both the X- and
Y-axis of a multi-fiber/ribbon array. Provides single or dual
magnification (200/400X). Ergonomic device for one-handed use.
- FBPT-C130
interface tip for standard video probe: used in conjunction with the
ARINC guides that are designed for use on the C130 aircraft. The tip is
attached to an FBP series probe microscope and can be inserted into each
cavity of the C130 guides to enable inspection of each contact of the
various fiber connectors on the aircraft.
- FBPP-BAP3 and
FBPP-BAP3-A6 barrel assemblies for P5 probe: a narrow (3 mm) barrel
assembly used in conjunction with inspection guides for certain multiple
termini connectors. FBPP-BAP3-A6 is the angled version.
- FBPT-A801-series
alignment guides (7 total): these guides make it easier to inspect
various military and aerospace connectors tat use a plug and receptacle
design. They provide an alignment channel for sockets and they work in
conjunction with a barrel assembly to prevent the pins from breaking.
- FBPT-A801-1002R, FBPT-A801-1002P, FBPT-A801-4001P, FBPT-A801-2001P, FBPT-A801-2001R, FBPT-A801-2002R, FBPT-A801-2002P
INSPECTION TIPS
- FBPT-LUX24-G001 and FBPT-LUX24-G002: LuxCis 24 in-line plug with sockets and LuxCis in-line receptacle with pins.
- FBPT-U12M
and FBPT-U25M: Patch cord tips for use with FBP-series probes. Receives
any 1.25 mm (FBPT-U12M) and 2.5 mm (FBPT-U25M), ferruled connectors
(most commonly LC and MU).
- FBPT-SC and FBPT-LC: Bulkhead tips
for use with FBP-series probes. They interface with SC and LC bulkhead
adapters to demonstrate the connector inside the alignment sleeve.
- FBPP-TACS1 and FBPP-TACS2: Cases for tips or adapters with dividers to separate interior compartments.
- FBPP-HSC15: Pelican 1550 case with custom foam padding.
