General Return Policy

Our general return policy allows for the return of many products in new, un-opened condition, when returned in a timely matter. However, many products we sell are not returnable.

EDMO makes every effort possible to inform customers at time of purchase that an item being purchased may be a "non-returnable" item.

Reasons a product may not be acceptable for return include, but are not limited to:

• Special Order Items
• Lost or "broken" Traceability
• Items Sold As Non-returnable
• Software
• Computer Based Products
• Programmed Items
• Time Sensitive Items

Of course, used, old, damaged, and opened items will not be accepted for return either.

This policy is to ensure that when any customer purchases an item from EDMO, they can be assured they are receiving new, un-opened product, and in the case of items to be installed on aircraft, fully traceable and certified product.

Approved Aircraft Parts

With the recent focus and attention by the FAA on parts certified for aircraft use, we wanted to take the opportunity to clearly define our return policies on certified aircraft parts, such as TSO, PMA, etc.

For a part to be considered for return, it must first be established that the item will be received back at EDMO in the "same" condition it was in when it left EDMO. That is, un-opened, original intact packaging, no additional markings, no broken seals, new and un-used.

Once it is established the item is in "same" condition, we will verify there were no other "special terms or conditions" agreed to at time of order prohibiting a return.

If item is deemed "returnable", and in "same" condition, we will require a Form 8130 issued by returning agency to authenticate item is new, un-used, and allow restocking at EDMO.

Restocking fees may apply depending on the type of item being returned.

The general rule is, if an item is a "regularly stocked" item, in "same" condition, and no "special terms and conditions" for return were established at time of sale, there may be no restocking fee.

If item is a "regularly stocked" item, with no "special terms and conditions" at time of sale, is returned with a Form 8130 stating "New and Unused" BUT is not returned in "same" condition, a restocking fee of 30% will apply. These returned items will then be sold as "Yellow Tagged", repackaged, and discounted at www.edmo.com. Used items will not be accepted for return.
